Posted By: Will Moss on February 18, 2019

In partnership with Microsoft’s IT Business, HBCUCONNECT.COM is offering black technical professionals in the Dallas, Texas market, the opportunity to meet with representatives from Microsoft to learn more about career opportunities, network with their peers, as well as open up one on one discussions with Microsoft team members that could lead interviews as soon as the next day for high paying tech careers!

HBCU CONNECT has executed on events for Microsoft’s recruitment efforts in the past, hosting a similar event last year for the Cloud & Enterprise group, also at the National Society of Black Engineers conference, and recently at a private VIP event for Black HR professionals in the D.C, Maryland, and Virginia region.

The event for technical professionals on March 14th will target Field Engineers, support Engineers, Account Executives, Solutions Specialists, Commercial Solutions Execs, Global Partner Development Managers, Software Engineers, Consultants, and Technical Trainers.

“We plan to host 50 to 60 professionals that will be looking to land interviews with Microsoft leadership, as well as learn more about what life at Microsoft is like as an African American” said Will Moss, CEO of HBCUConnect.com. “What is really exciting about this particular event, is that Microsoft will be setting up interviews with some of the event attendees as soon as the next day, right after the event! This shows how serious Microsoft is about hiring talent from the African American professional community.”

This will be a GREAT opportunity for African Americans working in software, sales, or IT to make new connections, expand their network, and explore new career opportunities.

The event will be held on March 14th from 5pm to 8pm and will be RSVP only. Once attendance is confirmed, the exact location of the event will be shared as well as details on parking and an agenda for the evening.

For more information, details, and how to register, please email your resume to events@hbcuconnect.com or sign up using link below.
