Posted By: Lenora Magee-Howard on April 04, 2005

I was a bit worried but today i got my acceptance letter from Howard!! I'm so happy but then i'm caught in a quandry cuz been accepted to all my ten schools i applied to and i only visited three or four of them. (Howard being one) i like howard but i also like wat clark alanta and FAMU presents but i didin't visit neither one of the schools. Also i am still waiting to find out if i got a scholarship to Jackson State which will help alot cuz i didn't get any finicial aid from Howard. But i like howard and i talked to the track coach there and everything. Anyways any FAMU, CAU, Howard or JSU people get at me..advertise ur skool for me. So far tho it looks like ima be goin to HOWARD!!!

Howard University class of 2009
Yeah I am going to have to agree with Jason. If Howard is where you think you wanna be then that's where you should beregardless of money. There are so many scholarships out there that it could get paid with no problem. Howard is really one of those places that has whole package- great education, variety of majors, great location, excellent social life and endless opportunities to network and met the people who can help you get closer to your goal of success. It's just the place to be! Hope you will be a BISONETTE at the REAL HU in the Fall of '05!

Make the decision that is best for you. If you really want to go to Howard, then do everything you can to make it happen. Sometimes it doesn't work out, but there are always other great schools. Though money is not everything, having it does mean a lot in college. Howard is expensive with no fin. aid. Try to apply for outside scholarships. Hope to see you in the fall but if not, good luck in whatever you decide to do.
