Position Purpose Provide overall management of Divisional library budgets, encompassing operational, capital and staff categories, with accountability for expense monitoring, projections, and daily issues. Routinely deals with Budget Office, Comptroller's Office, and other University departments. Provides HR support for the library and serves as primary contact with HR. Essential & Other Functions: *Assists with overall management of the library budget including pre & post-grant accounting and reconciling *Prepares budget projections and annual budget load, and monitors spending by category of budget and department *Assists with auditing payroll entries for staff and students, making corrections as needed *Collects and analyzes data for ad hoc and budget reports *Manages the library budget to include processing invoices, daily approvals, responding to inquires, monitoring of expenses and monthly and annual reconciling *Supports the finances of the Brandeis University Press with monthly reconciliations which includes processing invoices, daily approvals, responding to inquiries, monitoring of expenses and monthly and annual reconciling *Performs HR management responsibilities in consultation with members of the University HR Department and with supervision from the University Librarian *Manages all HR responsibilities for approximately 50-person Library staff *Performs new hire searches, prepares paperwork, and handles other internal personnel needs related to promotions, title changes, leaves, new hires, personnel issues, terminations, etc *Maintains personnel records including job descriptions How to Apply: Submit cover letter and resume as a single document at http://www.brandeis.edu/humanresources/job...
