DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO!

I want to do what I can to help others, whether they are Greeks or barbarians, whether they are educated or uneducated. That's why, so far as I'm able, I'm ready to preach the gospel to the people in Rome. ~ Romans 1:14-15, The Clear Word November 25, 2018 REVISED December 15, 2018 First, let me start by saying: Everything which was created by God is good! The world is good, but the direction of its growth in accordance to the dictation of its dominating principles which lacks the essence of LOVE is influenced by man. Man's principles or way of thinking has deviated from the direction of the Lord towards a more carnal mindset for quite sometime as adapted by a majority worldview. Many have been campaigning to remove the presence and evidence of God to include who HE really is from the world; but, it is important for me to see God in every aspect of my life in celebration and appreciation of what HE means to me. With that said, the world encourages and enforces a spirit of division and competitiveness while God represents and encourages a spirit of DIVINE unity on the basis of LOVE and forgiveness. Through the Holy Spirit as inspired by the Lord, I am being encouraged to learn an entirely different way of thinking through a new set of eyes or lenses. The world taught me to believe that more is better; but, God has taught me that less can be more rewarding and just as fulfilling as more with the right outlook! The world taught me to seek to belong based on similarities from the outside which only served to alienate me; but, God has been teaching me to seek to identify with similarities from the inside to challenge and to appreciate DIVINE growth and spiritual maturity. Someone once stated, I only write about my issues; but, more importantly than that, these issues are not specific to me! There are problems in the world that many refuse to discuss out of fear, shame, manipulation, intimidation and isolation. Some of you ohave even been sworn into secrecy to forbid you from sharing your pain or your truth as it impacts you to understand the nature of healing through the revealing of truth. And, some are so caught up in their own little world that they refuse to think or care about anyone else other than their own selfish needs or wants to excel at any and all cost necessary. So, I write as instructed by God and inspired to shine a little light on issues that not only affect or involve me, but others who have or are experiencing some of the same. Why? Because things are not as simple as 1, 2, 3 and sometimes, for some, seeing and actually doing is more believing and healing through the process of constructive confrontation whether others understand it or not! They have no conscience (a sense of right from wrong) left, making agreements without intending to keep them, having no love for anyone but themselves and being unkind and totally pitiless. ~ Romans 1:31, The Clear Word Living and functioning in a world filled with rules and regulations in the name of visibility can be so disappointing. I don't know anyone who truly expects to be disappointed or welcomes it! Do you? Disappointments have no boundaries; and, unfortunately, they come when you least expect them! When you find yourself being disappointed one after the other, you either start to accept it or you simply start to push back and withdraw! For the most part, I think many of us are equipped with survival instincts to adapt, take flight or attempt to fight to keep from sinking! Some simply give up and lose hope; but, adapting is not necessarily the same as giving up! It can be considered as a sign of retreat if you do not allow yourself to compromise your principles to fit in with a world dictated view of "do as I say and not as I do." So, don't give in and let your body become a tool in the hands of sin, but choose to serve God as men and women should who have been rescued from death and given another chance. Your body should serve God by doing what is right! (~ Romans 5:13, The Clear Word) And, ALWAYS remember: Rules, regulations and policies should hold truth that mean something to and for EVERYONE with no exceptions! For example: Why is there a policy in place to encourage the hiring of veterans when and if applicable only to be despised, ignored and dishonored? In the same manner, why are there policies in place to consider the hiring of people with disabilities and viable "Schedule A" candidates only to be overlooked during the selection process? Rules and regulations are an important part of organizational structure and I am a stickler for rules and regulations when they work - across the board for EVERYONE. However, working in human resources has taught me a lot about visibility without promise and action! Just as laws are written as double standards; unfortunately, policies, rules and regulations work the same way! They operate like code with a double meaning and are put in place to disillusion you about the truth! It actually conjures up memories, for me, of watching a mafia movie! What you are allowed to see on the surface is not what is truly happening underneath! Meaning, things are being done for show with the aid of regulations which are not truly being honored except on the basis of a discretionary rule hiding behind the law. There is a very distinctive difference between the natural law (the letter of the law) and the supernatural law (the SPIRIT). The supernatural law of God carries more weight; morality versus immorality, even if immorality is governed by the authority of a natural law is still wrong! Those who stubbornly cling to their own ways in the face of the truth about God and who don't care about what is right will reap the indignation of God and the final destination that sin deserves. ~ Romans 2:8, The Clear Word When I made the decision to return to the employment of the Federal government, I did my homework to see if I was eligible for reinstatement after years of separation in the private sector. At the time, I had to have at least three to five years of Federal service under my belt to include the proof of an official SF-50. After learning I was eligible, I began my search to apply for available openings which was exhausting! Initially, I was told my SF-50 could not be validated, but I knew it could easily be verified; and, God prevailed! It is very disappointing to know you meet the criteria for being reinstated while being challenged to prove what you know to be true based on the outlined guidance's. And, it is even more disappointing to possess the necessary skill and knowledge for positions that others want you to believe you don't have - only to block you or redirect you to a lesser - more better suited position in their opinion! No, this does not happen to everyone! That's my point; but, it doesn't mean it doesn't happen! Many of us, in need of a job and greater stability SETTLE only to be greeted by more disappointment, but that doesn't mean we have given up! So, I understand and I can - WHOLEHEARTEDLY - relate to others who say, finding gainful employment with growth potential is hard. It is not because they are not trying or are not qualified! They simply encounter unexpected obstacles known as detours that overtake them by surprise while others want them to believe that they didn't do enough! The intent of honoring a policy was visible, but discretion on the basis of exceptions to the rule was enacted and acceptable in the eyes of the perceived law! Processes and policies should be common knowledge and although policies are put in place to set some ground rules for guidance and EQUAL OPPORTUNITY, people are not expecting you to be knowledgeable about regulations to be able to challenge and meet the eligibility criterion. In fact, they throw big words at you while attempting to use legalese in the name of loopholes to confuse you! They don't expect you to be able to follow the guidance to fully understand it to note the policy was only a sham to get you in the door! And, in many cases, it is more of a smoke screen to be used against you to keep you from entering the door through the front while others gain access through the back. God blesses us ALL with the opportunity to make our own choices in life, but many times, for some of us, the chosen path may not necessarily be of our own choosing. When obstacles are forced upon us, we may find it necessary to detour for alternatives! How many times have you sought employment, answered an ad, met all of the qualifications, were scheduled for an interview and upon your arrival, you were offered something far less? What changed between your call and your arrival? Your qualifications were the same! Your education was the same and proven to be true! But, once you were physically sized up and noted to have a strong character and personality for not being easily deceived, you were no longer a viable candidate. Or, perhaps your voice and intellect didn't fit the suggested image! Do you get discouraged and stop trying or move forward? Do you accept the lesser position in the name of survival, lick your wounds and continue your search until something else opens up? You hold on to HOPE! No matter what, you continue to put your trust in God; not man! You hold on to God's unchanging hand and BELIEVE! Never assume you are not worthy! There are advantages and disadvantages to everything! There are advantages to being seen and unseen. When people see you as being invisible, they have a tendency of exposing you to things that if they really knew who you were, they would probably think twice! Can you imagine being positioned by God to see and to know what others don't think you are able to see or to know? Can you imagine being overlooked and disqualified for certain positions because people know your strength which is resistance to temptation and control outside of the will of God? When people undervalue you they underestimate you, BUT not Jesus! While people disqualify you, God validates you for HIS mission. So just know, the government sits on the shoulders of the Lord and although the government has taken pride in separating itself from God, the government should restrict and restrain from EVIL. Instead, over the years, the government has moved out of position in becoming an accomplice of EVIL with no conscience for protecting God's children (all nationalities) or creation. But, no matter what, you have an individual purpose to stay in position and follow the leading of the Lord whose character is high above the natural man. HE is the ultimate example of INTEGRITY! HE walks out what HE says and says what HE means! HE is a doer in deed and in action! SIDE NOTE AND FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Visibility and intent often go hand in hand! What exactly is intent? The appearance of an act with the intent of follow through but without the possibility of justifiable action. In today's society, much is done in the name of visibility and recognition without the intent of being reliable and trustworthy to pursue honesty and justice for all. There is more attention being directed towards covering up policy violations than there are acts of lawful compliance. REFERENCES: Policy: The general principles by which a government is guided in it's management of operating in business. Principles applied to a law, ordinance, or rule of law and denotes a general purpose or tendency considered as directed to the welfare or prosperity of the state or community. Regulations: Rules, orders, and the like, issued by various governmental departments to carry out the intent of the law. Agencies issue regulations to guide (control) the activity of those regulated by the agency and their own employees and to ensure uniform application of the law. Law: That which is laid down, ordained, or established. In a generic state, is a body of rules of action or conduct prescribed by controlling authority, and having binding legal force. Intent: Design, resolve, or determination with which a person acts. A state of mind in which a person seeks to accomplish a given result through a course of action. General Intent: In criminal law, the intent to do that which the law prohibits. It is not necessary for the prosecution to prove that the defendant the precise harm or the precise result which eventuated. It contains certain employment information useful to the applicant or if applying for another Federal job.
