let me speak my mind

let me speak my mind
Posted By: Mike Washington on April 04, 2006

first of all...alot of people wanna know how i feel about bush...lets see...um...iu think he isnt the best president in the world...i mean nobodys perfect but..why is he living in a cozy big white house and u got all these people starving...u got all these people dying and homeless right there in dc...i mean if i was presidenti would have took those hurricane katrina victims and put them in the white house myself instead of sending family members to different parts of the country..i mean why are the soldiers and seamen in iraq...the found saddam...why not leave now...bush is sending soldiers to iraq to just destroy the city and then our tax money is going towards rebuilding it after we finish strealin iraq's oil...bush figured that he would cheat his way into the presidency just to finish what his dad started with saddam years ago...why dont we bring all the military back over here in their home and take george bush's punk a** over there and fight the israelis himself...and send the whole oval office and the cabinet and congress and have them fight...bring all our brothers,sisters,aunts,and other relatives right back home...i wanna raise one dollar from everyone i know and take that money and start my own charity...the money is not going to me...it will go to those around the world...i wanna put an end to poverty...even if i have to take in people into my church or my home i will...if everyone i know can give me...one dollar...im sure that will make a difference if it doesnt reach everyone...i will match what i take up...so if i get a thosand people i will match it and pt up a thousand of my dollars and so on and so forth..im doin this for fame and glamor...i know what its like to...i have lived in the slums...the projects...the ghetto or wateva u wanna call it...i have gone thru night not knowing when my next meal is gonna be...i dont want my brothers and sisters..i mean brothers and sisters as in anyone in the world...to grow up having to go thru what i went thru....i wanna do my part..i wanna be the first someone calls if they need a ride...or they are hungry...or they need somebody to talk to...im a great listener...im not perfect but i strive for perfection in everything i do.ya kinow..i plan on goin in the navy...but how can i fight for a president who ignored katrina victims until kanye west claimed he doesnt care about black people...oh yeah lets help out since somebody said i dont like black people...oh yeah he really cares..if he really cared..like i said he would be dwon there scoopin people up out of the astrodome and other places and bring them to the white house...or better yet...why not carry yo sorry a** down to new orleans and roll yo sleeves back and get yo hands dirty how bout that mr. bush...why not bush go there and help rebuild the city...show u really care...u want supporters...why not offer your support...instead of going all over the world playin golf and meetin worldwide ambassadors.i should stop here but give me some feedback on this one cuz i know i aint alone

Bro, I back what You say and believe.

I have already stated my opinion to Republican statements....

You are entitled to Your beliefs.

I am an Ex-Army Sergeant, I back our troops but not the deceitful reason for a war where everyone else is dying but the people that send them there and are making money for it.
Everyday seems like something new and disturbing is common form Bush's political peers.

Even republicans are speaking out and pulling away from Bush.........
Oh I can say soo much more but You sum up very well Young man.

What makes a "Great" Leader? One that thinks past what others tell him he should.
Those who do that are blind followers.

I applaud Your convictions to be bold and courageous to speak out.

KEEP BEING YOU AND YOU WILL GO FURTHER IN LIFE THAN MANY....

I agree with some of what you are saying and i think that most would agree that there is a problem with bush and all tha crazy stuff he been doin, but i have also wondered about the charity thing. if everyone in the US could give one dollar to the poor in america, we would not have the poverty that we do right now... just one dollar. But it is kinda hypocritical to say u goin in tha military after you just pointed out all the negativity that comes along with it. But i'm glad to see someone out there thinkin bout more than just material things....u actually wanna help people...ttyl mike! ~Brie~

I love this post! I agree with you 100%! And I think that you can really make a difference with this because there are so many out there starving and homeless and helpless that just get looked over or looked through as if they don't exist. I'd give you a dollar any day for this, even it was my last. Bush does need to pay more attention to home instead of runnin around trying to solve every other country's "problems."Sure we can be peace-keepers or whatever, but when the people who need you at home can't get help, you need to step back. & i do agree that Bush should have brought some of the Katrina victims to the White House because not all them could evacuate before the storm hit for whateva reason, obviously. But it's real kool 2 see that you're willing to do so much to help people & make a difference in people's lives...you aint all about yourself & how you can get over on people at their expense even when their already low.
