Fisk Open House

Posted By: Michael Harris on April 08, 2006 Hey everybody, I just got back from open house at Fisk. This was my first time being on campus. I got to tell yahl, for those who have not been there, this is such a great school. Its small and right next to downtown Nashville, which is like a mini ATL ta me, and almost everything is in walking distance. Thats not the good part. The good part is the people like the staff falculty and students there. Normally when i go somewhere unfamiliar to me, I'm a little nervous and over observant. At Fisk, they really make you feel like your joining a big family. I felt so welcomed and I'm very excited about starting my freshmen year. That long drive was so worth it. Not that I did not think going to Fisk wasnt worth it, but seeing what I'm going to face when I get there makes me feel much better about my decision. I hope everyone else who is just thinking about going to Fisk, turn that into a reality. Fisk is definantly the school to go. Theres no other university id rather attend. I gotta agree with you mike. when i went to the scholars weekend i felt out of place cause i was from up north (detroit) but the atmopshere had a good vibe. i know our freshman year will be on point at fisk
