Posted By: How May I Help You NC on June 14, 2019 The Woodward School established in 1894 is an independent, college preparatory day school for girls in grades 6 – 12, located in Quincy MA. We are seeking a dynamic technology teacher for upper and lower grades. The teacher will teach the curriculum (coding, robotics, app dev) and also have the opportunity to shape the program and/or after school offerings broadening the student’s knowledge of Office applications, research skills, and digital safety/citizenship. The candidate must be comfortable in a Mac environment. The Tech Teacher works closely with the Director of IT and is responsible for: Maintenace and updates of Shared student IPads Maintenance of HW/SW inventory Lab computers; 3D printers and robotic equipment Student account creation and deletions In conjunction with IT Director, technical matters relating to students and teachers Inventory of tech supplies (toner, projector bulbs, power adapters, etc.) Coordination of peripherals, such as cameras, mics, etc. Our ideal candidate has Woodward looks for teachers who work collaboratively with colleagues across disciplines and who add significance to the culture of the school and the lives of our students.
