Alexis Collard joins Ion Efrim and Reka Szentes as participants in the tournament, as the duo played in last year's tournament. The tournament will take place in September. Collard finished the 2019 season 9-3 overall in singles play, earning All-SWAC honors as a sophomore. He finished 8-1 at number three singles and won a singles match at number four singles. He teamed with Efrim at number one doubles, finishing 5-7. The tournament features the returning Player of the Year (or other, as determined by the selection criteria) from each Division athletic conference, with one additional wild card spot. The tournament will consist of a double elimination 32-player men's singles draw and a double elimination women's singles' draw, along with a single elimination 32-team mixed doubles draw. Each mixed doubles' team will be comprised of the men's player and women's player from each conference, with wild card players pair together or with conference players who do not have a counterpart.
