Alabama State University's Magic City Classic Events Kick-Off This Week in Birmingham

America's Largest HBCU Football Classic with SHAQ, 2-Chainz & a Host of Celebrities and events.

Below is a rundown of the major events taking place in Birmingham this week as Alabama State University celebrates Magic City Classic (MCC) Week, which is America's largest HBCU football classic. It is also one huge celebration of college fun!

See below for specific events taking place that welcome news media coverage as both preview news stories and day-of-event news stories.

Saturday's football game between ASU and Alabama A&M will be awesome, but don't miss out on Saturday morning's MCC parade through downtown Birmingham; as well as concerts, parties and bigger than life stars who will be present, which includes MCC's official ambassador SHAQ, and 2-Chainz with his after-game concert at Legion Field.

This is well worth serious news media coverage especially in the greater Birmingham media market, and in both Montgomery and Huntsville where ASU and Alabama A & M are located.
