Posted By: Reginald Culpepper on January 08, 2020 Congratulations are due to first-year Oakwood University student Robert Booker II, who has been selected by former First Lady Michelle Obama and the Reach Higher Initiative. The initiative chose four first-year college students to highlight via Instagram video stories throughout the academic year with the support of media partner "attn." Booker will be majoring in Applied Mathematics and Aerospace Engineering. From Maryland, Booker is a graduate of Takoma Academy, and is excited to be at Oakwood which allows him to take advantage of all of the opportunities in the aerospace industry that Huntsville has to offer.
