Joing the group Was Drummer-James saunders Who Was A fan Of Bassist Joseph Alan Fears, Then Adding A Conga & Vocalist-Tevin Townsend (Josephs Cuzin) came Only 3 Weeks After Putting The Band Togather,Next Lead Guitarist-Roger Barns Was Offered The Position One Month later, Within The First 6 Months "The Zafaja Band" Was performing Concerts All Over kansas, And Although Bassist & Vocalsist "Joseph Alan Fears" Was The Only One recording On His record label JAFF RECORDS USA, Untill August of 1997,When The zafaja band performed Live, Since Then "The Zafaja Band" Has Added keyboardist- Mythias Lee, & Drummer- Matt Mathews, & Lead Guitarist-Amos Vega, Witch makes Up That Jazz-Funk Groove Sound That This Band Has Created, Even On There Live CD' The Zafaja band Live In Concert" 2009.Presently In 2011 The zafaja Band Continues To Dazzle There Fans t Nightclubs, festivals & Concerts Across The USA. performing Originals, & Blues & Soul Cover Songs requested By There fans.
