I am proud of you Lil Sil! I am from St. Albans)Farmers Blvd myself, AJ High Grad. There is not a lot of exposure to the Black College life when you grow up on our side of Queens. The young kids only get to see Black Colleges close-up when they play with the Springfield Rifles and go to the Whtney Young Classic at the Meadowlands (Giant Stadium). I want you to stay focused on completing the Fall'06 semester. You will get homesick, but handle it by staying involved with positive things on campus. Do not let the Fly country boys get you hooked on their style. All (most) NY girls who start out calling them country, then fall victim. I bet you are trippin' out on the Greek organizations, but again, do not get caught up. To me they remind me of the Bloods' & Crips' mentality of who is the best. Spring semester will arrive in no time and you have to have your grades right. I wish you the best and represent for our hood while you are there. Peace, The Khemist
