A Message from Our Partners at Nationwide Insurance During the COVID-19 Pandemic
|
Posted By: Will Moss on May 03, 2020 HBCUCONNECT.COM recently reached out to our partners at Nationwide Insurance when our CEO received a note from Nationwide about money being credited back to him related to the COVID-19 crisis. "Many people are experiencing hardship due to the efforts to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus. That emerging trend is prompting Nationwide to offer a one-time premium refund of $50 per policy for personal auto policies active as of March 31, 2020" Directly from Nationwide's website: https://blog.nationwide.com/news/nationwid... "Nationwide has been a partner to HBCU CONNECT for may years now, so I wanted to reach out directly to express my gratitude as well as let our members know that Nationwide is really on your side" said Will Moss, CEO of HBCU CONNECT. Nationwide has since responded to the HBCU CONNECT audience: "Since Nationwide was created in 1926, there have been numerous humanitarian crises and challenges that we have faced together with the rest of the country. The world faces a crisis once again. Our hearts go out to those who are suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic. We salute and applaud medical professionals who are serving these patients. Nationwide strives to provide extraordinary care and support to our members in this time of need. There seems to be no shortage of information readily available, but it can sometimes be overwhelming to sift through it all. Here at Nationwide, our mission “to protect people, businesses and futures with extraordinary care” is not just words on a page. Nationwiders all over the country are rallying around this purpose as we find new ways to keep our commitments to you and the community around us." https://www.nationwide.com/personal/about-...
