HBCU Product, 2Chainz and Lil Wayne Announce New Single Dropping at Midnight!

Posted By: Will Moss on August 06, 2020 2Chainz, from Atlanta, and also an HBCU product (Alabama State University) has teamed up with Lil' Wayne to drop a new single with an HBCU themed image on the cover. The Atlanta-born rapper, whose real name is Tauheed Epps, attended Alabama State University on a scholarship and played basketball for two years. He then transferred to Virginia State University but returned to Alabama State to finish college, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Using social media sites like twitter, and instagram, the famous rappers are generating buzz and many HBCU students and graduates are excited to see if the music integrates an HBCU band theme or references to the HBCUs in the lyrics.
