starting over

Posted By: KeKe Rogers on April 28, 2006 so yesterday im chillin in the room and out of the blue someone who i used to call one of my best friends calls and begins to tell me that we (all of the old friends) should get together and talk and i was all game for it i knew that it would be hard trying to get one of our friends to go along with it.....so me and another one of my friends goes over to the house where the other friend lives....mind u all of us really had a close bond in the short time that we were friends and im not gonna lie i really missed that bonding experience that we had b/c something like that is hard to find......so all 4 of us laid our feelings out on the table and it turns out that alot of things were happening to each and everyone of us and we all realized that our friendship was too strong to let petty things get in the way of us not helping eachother through some really tough times.....i mean im not saying that we walked out of that meeting best friends again but it may be a start to a new beginning.....hopefully we will all continue talking and not fall back into not calling each other again we have all decided that maybe once a week we meet up and go out to eat or go to each others houses and just sit and chit chat into the night or something.....im just ready to get my friends back If you enjoyed this article, Join HBCU CONNECT today for similar content and opportunities via email! |
