|
Posted By: Kennedy Williams on February 02, 2021 NBA superstar Chris Paul has always shown a lot of love to HBCUs. Whether it was enrolling in Winston-Salem State University, helping create HBCU Con or just repping a different HBCU on his shoes every game, he has made it clear that he is serious about celebrating and supporting our beloved institutions. Now as an executive producer of a new ESPN+ docuseries, Paul is helping tell the story of an HBCU basketball team. Why Not Us: North Carolina Central University Men’s Basketball follows the NCCU men's basketball team during the 2020-2021 season. Centered around HBCU grad and head coach LeVelle Moton, his staff, and his team, the series documents life on and off the court. This will be the first premium project to debut under The Undefeated on ESPN+ and will premiere on Feb. 12.
