Nathan Associates Inc. is looking to fill its Principal Associate of Trade and Logistics. Nathan is a leading provider of analytic and economic consultancy services worldwide. From improved transparency and deeper stakeholder engagement to more effective policies and more resilient businesses, they deliver results that impact economic growth, human development, and poverty reduction. They are passionate about applying their deep analytical expertise and advanced proprietary tools to generate economic solutions tailored to our clients’ unique challenges. Nathan focuses on a range of economic development subject matter areas including Trade & Logistics; Economic Policy & Governance; Private Sector Development; Women’s Economic Empowerment; and Financial Solutions. As the Principal Associate, it would be your job to: -Supervise and mentor home office and overseas staff assigned to Trade and Logistics. -Maintain positive client relationships with USG, donor, host country government, and private sector to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and contract execution focused on trade policy and trade facilitation. -Supervise assigned home office project management staff to ensure effective, efficient, and compliant implementation. -Serve as a technical expert for T&L projects as well as other related Nathan activities. For example: -Advising and training developing country stakeholders on trade policy and regulatory practices, including WTO, regional and bilateral trade agreements, trade facilitation; -Partnering with customs authorities, trade ministries, and other agencies to make border clearance of goods more efficient, transparent, and inclusive; -Using advanced IT tools and emerging technologies to enable trade and elevate analysis; -Estimating the economic impact of trade policies and interventions; -Advancing sustainability and ownership of reforms through consultations, public-private dialogue, strategic communications, and outreach -Contributing to women’s economic empowerment through tailored interventions in T&L.
