The networking event is presented in partnership with Amazon’s Global Specialty Fulfillment business and will take place on February 18th at 10:00am PST/1:00pm EST. Established in August 2005, The Black Employee Network (BEN) affinity group's primary purpose is providing a support structure for Black employees at Amazon while championing inclusion and diversity throughout the company. Amazon's Black History Month (BHM) 2021 theme is: “The Joy of Our Voices”. Throughout the month, BEN will honor BHM by celebrating the Black artists, entrepreneurs, and innovators who have found opportunity in the midst of challenges, innovated when faced with adversity, and created economic impact that continues to break barriers with the joy of their voice. Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) is an exciting organization within Amazon specializing in delighting customers with the speed in which they make items appear on their doorsteps. They are a combination of operations and support teams aligned to innovate for the last mile customer experience. The organization consists of over 13 different lines of businesses, over 550 sites and over 65,000 team members worldwide. On February 18th, both organizations will come together to host this virtual event highlighting “The Voice of the Candidate – How do you stand out?” There will be a Fireside Chat with Vice-President, People, Experience & Technology for Global Customer Fulfillment and Louisiana State University graduate, J.
