What Has Been Your Experience with COVID-19 and the Pandemic

Walters Leadership and Policy Center at Howard University is conducting a research study examining the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on the HBCU community. We are seeking Students who are attending one of the Historically Black Colleges or Universities and are 18 years of age or older to participate in an online survey. The questions will be on how you have fared since the pandemic hit the U.S. and most colleges and universities were forced to operate virtually. We are seeking information on how the pandemic has affected students educationally, socially, and economically as well as health wise. You are invited to participate in this study. If you agree to participate, your contribution to the study could help to draw attention to the need for additional resources for students and for your campus in general. Study findings and recommendations will be published and shared with college administrators, government officials and others. Participation in this study is voluntary. Your identity as a participant will remain anonymous in the student response survey during and after the study. The identities of all participants’ will be protected through the use of identification numbers instead of names. If you have questions, please send an email to: covid19-gates@howard.edu.
