The Harpeth Hall School seeks a full-time middle school math teacher. They are committed to an inclusive program, and candidates with a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion work are especially encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator capable of teaching various levels of middle school math. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful listener, who communicates clearly and effectively with students, colleagues, and families, both orally and in writing. Professionalism, a positive outlook, a good sense of humor, and a student-centered approach to middle school teaching are highly valued. We seek a colleague who enjoys being part of a highly collaborative team, with a commitment to interdisciplinary projects and innovative pedagogy. A bachelor’s degree is required. Experience in curriculum development, at least three years of full-time teaching experience, and a master’s degree are preferred. Comfort and familiarity with the use of relevant technology to enhance learning are also essential.
