The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative was founded by Dr. Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg in 2015. This philanthropic company leverages technology to help with world challenges like disease, education, and even America’s criminal justice system.

Interested in creating the most just, inclusive, and healthy future for everyone, The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative pairs engineering, grant making, policy making, and investing with advocacy.

The company is dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion. While we’ve all heard these words before, The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative is committed to doing their part to dismantle systemic oppression.
