Posted By: Jerome Frank on May 02, 2006 TxSU is a great school. But your first two years you are more than likely going to be around a bunch of not so smart, lazy people. DON'T get it twisted now there are alot of very bright people @ TxSU, but the idiot crowd sometimes seem more visible . Lots of people come here for the wrong reason, just make sure you on your stuff. There is a great number of successful people that come out of TxSU, you could be one. TxSU is one of the better HBCUs in the country, so you made a great choice. The faculty and staff for the most part are friendly and care about you reaching your potential. It's great your in the honors program for a number of reasons, i'm in it as well. The campus is looking better everyday and the best place to stay is tierwester. UC is smaller, but less expensive.
