Use these tips to become your best. Make Personal Connections in Your CityYou will stand out in your city when you start making all kinds of personal connections. Get to know everyone from the mayor to the owner of your favorite diner and those who work there. Make personal connections everywhere in the city and people will ask for your help when they need it. Sponsor Events to Get Your Name Out ThereWhen the town is putting on a fundraiser, sign up for it. Make donations to local school events or sports teams. When people see your name at these kinds of events, they will feel like they know you better and can trust you. Take Out Advertisements That Include a PhotoWhen you put an advertisement in the local paper, or when you put up a billboard advertising your services, include a nice headshot. The photo will help people put a face to the name. These advertisements will also remind people you are around to help them when buying or selling. Have Good Communication With EveryoneKeep your phone on you as often as possible so that you can pick up when someone calls. If you miss them, then call back as soon as you can. Be quick to reply to emails, as well. When you are a good communicator, people will know you care.
