Alabama A&M Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Heads To Texas For SWAC Championships

Posted By: Kennedy Williams on May 07, 2021 Alabama A&M women's outdoor track & field heads to Prairie View, Texas in search of titles as they compete in the 2021 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Championships from May 6-8. The Bulldogs will send 15 individuals to compete in as many events over the course of the three-day meet hosted by Prairie View A&M. Things will kick off with an abbreviated schedule on Thursday, May 6 as Alabama A&M will first see action with senior Sophia Madison (Pensacola, Fla.) competing in the heptathlon at 11 a.m. and freshman Briana Cox (Miami, Fla.) rounding out the day in the hammer at 12:30 p.m. The Friday and Saturday schedules will feature a full slate of competitors. Fans can follow each day's activities through live results and a live broadcast on the final day of the meet on the SWAC Digital Network.
