HBCU-Focused Entrepreneurs Launch Free Virtual Black Business Event
|
Posted By: Kennedy Williams on May 14, 2021 Through their continued efforts of elevating the Black community, a group of Black entrepreneurs is facilitating a virtual conference for Black men and women in business. The 2021 Urban Business Assembly will focus on marketing, finance, health and wellness, as well as business fundamentals that can be incorporated into multiple careers and entrepreneurial aspects. The May 15th event is a part of a contribution series that the entrepreneurs have launched to cultivate positive and resourceful experiences to inspire Black leaders. Their initial project was the Step into Greatness Scholarship for HBCU students. However, in their continued commitment, they have worked to integrate more resources that will assist both current and future Black leaders. The event’s sponsors include result-oriented companies such as owners Wesley Jacques of Blue Drem, a Digital Marketing agency; Zevi and Lauren Lacey, the founders of Urban Business Directory; Infinite 7 CEO Gia Mac; and Ashley Johnson, owner of Vegan Chef Ash. The Urban Business Assembly will be filled with gems of information from first-hand businessmen and women that have experienced years of success and even failures that have allowed them to learn valuable lessons and teach other entrepreneurs from their past business mistakes. The theme promoted throughout the program will be to encourage attendees to Step into Your Greatness while advancing their entrepreneurial endeavors. This incredible event will include two keynote speakers who are powerhouses in their fields and have curated a life built from intense hard work and purposeful strategies. Guests will be able to learn from successful Entrepreneur and the #1 Faith-Based Growth Strategist, A. Fitzgerald Hardnett who has worked diligently to raise the revenue of small businesses everywhere. The Urban Business Assembly will also hear from Serial Entrepreneur Chantale Milord, who, with her intentional coaching strategies and leadership, has transcended the lives of thousands throughout her successful career. Other notable speakers include Mamadou Diakite, Chairman and CEO of DiakPharmaceuticals, and April Showers, Founder & CEO of Afro Unicorn. Now more than ever, it’s imperative that aspiring, new, and established Black professionals and entrepreneurs take control of their futures in all aspects of business and life. The Urban Business Assembly is the perfect way to take the first step towards changing your mindset of where you want to be within the next 5, 10, 15, or 20 years. With two keynote speakers and eight industry panelists to guide attendees along the 360º journey of success, the virtual event will be an experience where attendees will learn valuable skills and concepts that will transform their business and life. “Developing yourself as an entrepreneur can be a different path for each individual. From the amount of drive, expertise, and commitment, no two roads are the same. But when you have an understanding of the foundations you need to have a chance at a life you want, there’s no limitation to success,” says Wesley Jacques of BlueDrem. Join this informative and mindful event to learn crucial aspects of business from successful entrepreneurs who’ve achieved success and are excited to share their story as well as their knowledge. The Urban Business Assembly will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021, 1pm to 3pm EST. How to attend: Registration is open and attendees can purchase their Conference pass via the event website at UrbanBusinessAssembly.com. All proceeds from the Urban Business Assembly will go to the Step Into Greatness HBCU Scholarships Fund. Scholarship applications are still being accepted until May 31, 2021, at UrbanBusinessDirectory.com/hbcu-scholarship or infinite7llc.com/hbcu-scholarship If you enjoyed this article, Join HBCU CONNECT today for similar content and opportunities via email! |
