HBCU Graduate Launches DuBlase Whiskey in 32 States Across the U.S., Offering a New Small Batch Whiskey Just in Time for Summer 2021

FAMU alumni and black entrepreneur launches online and in select retail stores in 32 states across the U.S. with the national release of a new small batch whiskey on May 27, 2021.

DuBlase founder and CEO, Darrin Eakins, worked extensively over the last two years with a distiller to develop this proprietary whiskey formula. “I’m beyond excited to introduce DuBlase to the U.S. whiskey market. When people think of American Whiskey, they generally think of Kentucky & Tennessee, but I’m proud to say DuBlase was formulated and grown in my home state of Florida. It’s a small batch whiskey that encompasses natural Florida spices with a hint of vanilla, offering a robust and smooth hand crafted whiskey,” said Darrin Eakins, founder and CEO of DuBlase.

The inspiration behind DuBlase goes back to the comradery that Eakins experienced throughout his college days at Florida A&M University. “After an accomplishment was achieved, celebrating milestones with my lifelong brothers is something that has been a tradition. A sip of a fine whiskey was usually involved too. It was these celebratory moments that inspired me to develop DuBlase and share it with the world. With DuBlase, everyone can celebrate with colleagues, family and friends with a toast of a glass,” said Eakins, a Florida A&M University graduate and serial entrepreneur based in Jacksonville, Fla.

DuBlase is available for purchase and shipment to adults of legal drinking age--21 years of age and older--online and in select retail stores. DuBlase will also be available to a variety of restaurants, bars and lounge venues across the Southeast this month. “We are pleased to launch the DuBlase brand online in 32 states right in time for the beginning of Summer 2021.

As online sales, especially spirits, climb in light of the pandemic, customers are encouraged to order DuBlase online if they live in Arizona, Arkansaw, California, Connecticut, Washington, D.C., Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Montana, Missouri, Nevada, Nebraska, New Mexico, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin online and in retail stores,” Eakins said.

DuBlase is a true small batch, hand-crafted whiskey, bringing together complex notes, offering a balanced and flavorful pour. “Matured and blended under the guidance of our master distiller in Florida, we distill every batch six times with precision, which allows us to create an authentic, crisp flavor profile,” said Eakins.

DuBlase Whiskey is available for sale for $29.99, plus shipping, and is available for purchase online, and in select retail stores across the U.S. DuBlase offers the perfect whiskey blend for the Summer. “Everyone is ready to celebrate the re-opening of the world post-pandemic, and there is no better way to do that than over drinks with colleagues, family and friends. The launch of DuBlase comes just in time for people to raise a glass to life with a delicious golden hour of cocktails featuring DuBlase Whiskey,” Eakins said
