Another Successful Recruiting Event: Agilent Diversity Recruiting/Hiring Event RECAP

Posted By: Kennedy Williams on May 24, 2021 FEATURED Content On May 19th, Agilent partnered with HBCU CONNECT to host a special diversity recruitment/hiring event for Black and Latinx students and professionals with backgrounds in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Chemical engineering. While the event was only planned for 30 attendees, more than 100 candidates joined our ZOOM event, and over 200 resumes were submitted to Agilent for jobs and internships. Attendees were not only able to hear about the incredible career opportunities at Agilent, but they also got to learn more about several key team members through our panel discussion and receive answers to questions through our 1-1 Recruiter Chat. The panelists and the recruiters were warm, welcoming, and willing to offer great advice to students and professionals alike, clearly demonstrating the Agilent company culture. Following the event, one attendee said, "The Agilent event was one of the best that I have attended. Sounds like they have a great culture and work environment. I have identified about 3 different roles that I will likely apply for." Even though we ended up with far more attendees than originally planned, Agilent has committed to calling all of the candidates that reach out to them via email for a brief interview.
