Posted By: Kennedy Williams on May 28, 2021 17-year old twins Reagan and Ricardo Razon are making headlines after being accepted into 15 universities and being offered more than $1.5 million in scholarships! Ever since they were little, these Raleigh, North Carolina kids have always enjoyed reading, studying, and learning new things That's why it's no surprise that these two have such a bright future ahead of them. Both twins began applying for college early as they were anxious to begin the next chapter in their lives. As each acceptance letter came in, they decided to vlog to record each celebratory moment. Both of them have been accepted into schools like Harvard, Duke, Yale, MIT, UPenn, and more. They also earned over $1.53 million combined in non-need merit-based scholarships. “We were both pleasantly surprised, but also grateful to receive all the offers that we did receive. Especially, as we’re experiencing a global pandemic. This year has been different for many students and the college application process has also been increasingly difficult,” Reagan told WRAL. After a lifetime of being together, the twins made the decision to part ways for college. Reagan recently accepted the Robertson Scholarship at Duke and Ricardo committed to attend Harvard. Reagan and Ricardo are both interested in the STEM field and hope to inspire children from underserved communities to dream big. One thing Ricardo shared in an interview sums up their goal perfectly: “I want to be somebody who brings diversity in the fields in the occupation I choose to go in, in the leadership positions I choose to seek."
