Boston University Department of Physical Education, Recreation & Dance is looking for a Manager of Outdoor Programs and wants you to APPLY! The Manager of Outdoor Programs will manage all operations and programming at the Barreca Climbing Wall and all other outdoor adventure recreation and education programs offered by Physical Education, Recreation and Dance including, but not limited to: climbing, boating, scuba, and winter sports. The Manager will also ensure that the climbing wall and adventure program operation complies with Massachusetts Department of Public Safety regulations and all other governing laws. Duties include: *Equipment inspection and maintenance, maintaining daily logs and other records required by state regulations. *Create, develop and enforce rules and regulations; hiring, training, and supervision of instructional and operational climbing staff and all outdoor adventure programming staff. *Program development, revenue generation, marketing, budget development, and administration for both instructional and operational areas. *Teach Physical Education, Recreation and Dance credit and non-credit rock climbing and outdoor adventure courses. This position may require work on the weekends, early morning, or late evenings. This position is eligible for Boston University's generous benefits package including health, dental, retirement, tuition remission, and more!
