MOVING THE MIDDLE: The 20-60-20 Rule
Leaders must be very conscious of where they spend their time and attention. The 20/60/20 rule is a variation on the Pareto Principle and it’s just as powerful. Its application to leadership, time management and generating results is priceless.
The top 20 percent is the “best in class” in any area within a company. Workers in this group understand job goals, work independently with little direction, and have the skills to deliver results. To best interact with these top performers, acknowledge their efforts, challenge them, promote them, but mainly, allow them to do their jobs without obstacles. Keep these employees motivated to drive company growth.
The bottom 20 percent of performers are a group that tend to gain a lot of attention from leadership. This method often results in little to no effect and can result in a waste of time, money, and energy.

The bottom 20 percent rarely change their attitude or mindset and are often misaligned within the company.
The 60 percent is where the real leverage in any organization lies. If a leader can align the middle 60 percent with the top 20 percent of performers, they can move their organizations forward in powerful and constructive ways.
Business Process Strategies Inc Has the Process that will align your Middle 60% to your top 20% which will increase Productivity and have a great impact to your Bottom Line. What if your Best In Class was 40%!
