Posted By: Kennedy Williams on August 05, 2021 FEATURED Content HBCU Connect is celebrating yet another successful virtual recruiting event, this time held in collaboration with JPMorgan Chase. Five Black leaders from Chase joined HBCU Connect to host a unique information session and panel discussion. Black professionals with backgrounds in Marketing, Product Management, IT and Finance were invited to learn more about Chase’s inclusive company culture, ask questions, and explore the range of opportunities available within Chase’s Credit Card Services business. “Chase recognizes how diversity of thought, skills and people enriches our business and our workplace,” said panelist Ed Olebe, President of Chase Co-Branded Cards. Ed was joined by Jason, Patton, Dana Pouwels and Brett Carpenter from the Chase Branded Cards team, and Rashaunda Jones from the company’s Ultimate Rewards team, who all shared their experiences at Chase and offered invaluable advice on how to thrive as a Black executive in the world of Marketing and Finance. Nearly 130 attended the virtual event – more than four times the number expected! Additionally, more than 300 resumes were submitted to be considered for currently open positions at Chase, in fields including Marketing, Product Management, Digital Product Development, Agile Project Management, and User Acceptance Testing. We could not be more proud of this event, and we look forward to bringing more hiring opportunities to our community.
