Trane Technologies Partners with HBCU Connect to Host Successful Diversity Recruitment Info Session

Posted By: Kennedy Williams on September 02, 2021 On Thursday, August 18th, 2021, Trane Technologies and HBCU CONNECT hosted a virtual diversity recruitment information session with the intentions of educating on Trane Technologies mission, culture, and opportunities for career growth for the Black Professional. At the event, HBCU CONNECT members and career candidates were able to hear from African American employees in leadership positions, including · Tyrone Ellis – Aftermarket Engineering Leader · Darick Lane – Regional Light Commercial Unitary, Replacement Leader · Phil Nwachokor – Services Account Manager · Kenya Jacobs – Diversity and Inclusion Director Over 75 candidates connected to the virtual event as the panelists shared interesting information, such as Trane Technologies inclusive efforts of creating a culture that includes everyone, having accountable leaders, focusing on a diverse workplace, and making sure employees are able to have a social impact in their roles. Several attendees provided positive feedback about the exciting potential to work for a company that was so plugged into creating an inclusive and exciting culture to work for.
