In the Need of "Guy" help....

Posted By: Nina West on May 11, 2006 Hey black people! What's going on? I hope everyone's finals are going good and congrats to the graduates of 06'...God bless ya! Anyway, I have this guy at my church that is an elder, he has a wonderful (funny,outgoing and caring) personality and he likes to act a fool like me(goof off;tell jokes)...I like him very much! But by him being an "elder" its like tripped out talking to him knowing this fact while he's yet young(21) I respect his position but I need guidance on what to say to him without being"out the way"? Feel me? (Keep in mind, this has never happened to me before!) Be Yourself, we are all human, by the way, the requirements for an Elder are to be married and running ones own households with children... Its the same position as the Office of a Bishop, 1Tim3:1-13. No pun intended, also usually 1 that is older but age does not necessarily bring knowldge and wisdom is how knowledge is used.I commend the young Brother for taking up such a cause in todays times.
