Howard University School of Business Ranked No. 23 Best Business School by Bloomberg Businessweek
Posted By: Kennedy Williams on October 03, 2021

WASHINGTON – The Howard University School of Business received its highest rankings yet on Bloomberg Businessweek’s list of best business schools. The 2021-22 list published in September ranked Howard University’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) program the No. 23 top business school in the U.S. The school also received the No. 3 ranking on the list’s new diversity index.

“It is an honor to be recognized and consistently ranked among the top business schools by Bloomberg Businessweek,” said Howard University School of Business Dean Anthony Wilbon, Ph.D. “This year, we received our highest ranking yet, and it is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our faculty, staff, students and alumni. I am also proud to be recognized among the top three most diverse schools in the U.S.”

The School of Business offers a traditional full-time and part-time MBA program and several dual degree programs in law, health sciences, engineering, social work and religion.

In addition to its premier online executive MBA program, the school expanded its online offerings to include its online part-time MBA, and coming this Spring 2022, it will also offer an online master’s program in accounting and finance specialized programs.

The School of Business also offers a global trilateral MBA certificate (GTMBA) program, which gives students the opportunity to travel abroad and gain global consulting experience with partnering universities in South Africa and China. The business school also offers several executive education certificate programs, including an executive certification in diversity coaching.

The Bloomberg Businessweek rankings consist of 119 MBA programs around the world. Rankings were based on 19,955 surveys from students, alumni and recruiters as well as compensation and employment data from each school. For the first time, the rankings included a diversity index that ranked schools based on race, ethnicity and gender data. Howard’s diversity score was 96.6, making it the top three school in the U.S. for diversity.
