ServiceNow Hosts Succesful Diversity Recruitment Event with HBCU CONNECT for HBCU Students!

Posted By: Temeka Wilson on October 04, 2021 On Tuesday, September 28th, ServiceNow and HBCU Connect hosted a virtual recruitment event with the purpose of educating Black and Latinx professionals about the best ways to present themselves to potential recruiters. ServiceNow delivers digital workflows that create great experiences for the customer and unlock productivity from all parties. ServiceNow provided insight from experienced professionals that offered plenty of advice on how to move forward in the hiring process. Those speakers included: • Chris Rogers - Senior Program Manager Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging • Tony Nguyen – Director, Software Engineering • Patricia Walker – Senior Diversity Recruiter • Akeem Joseph – Director, Technical Talent (Engineering, Product Design, IT) • Brianne Cline – Technical Recruiter, Early in Career • Ava Khoshravani – Senior Diversity Recruiter • Jaylin Turner – Engagement Lead With almost 115 in attendance, the panelists shared resumes and LinkedIn profiles that would most likely be look at from recruiters and hiring managers. They also told the audience to not shy away from internships; they create room for learning, growing and figuring out what is potentially wanted in the long run.
