If so, the Department of Physiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is looking to hire an Assistant/Associate Professor and wants YOU to APPLY! The Department of Physiology is renowned for its research excellence and has an internationally recognized faculty lead cutting-edge research programs in molecular, cellular, and systems neurobiology. Additionally, the University of Maryland campus offers state-of-the-art core facilities for microscopy, imaging, genetics, genomics, proteomics, and structural biology, along with the NeuroBioBank brain repository. NIH-funded training programs in neuroscience, integrative membrane biology, and muscle biology, cardiac biology, and vascular biology enhance our research activities. The University of Maryland School of Medicine invites outstanding scientists to apply for a tenure-track faculty position with an emphasis on cellular and molecular neuroscience. The expected rank is Assistant Professor or higher, with rank and tenure status dependent on the candidate’s qualifications.
