Practical application of what a student learns in the classroom and honing an idea to serve society and the greater good is at the core of the Morehouse College mission.
Students Kendall Camp ’22, Grant Commodore ’23, Joshua Curry ’22 and Paul Lockett ’22 won the inaugural Zillow HBCU Hackathon earlier this semester by creating an app that addresses financial uncertainty for long-term renters and provides users with a “stability score” to illuminate dramatic increases in living expenses that might come months or years in the future.
Swipe left to listen to them discuss how they arrived at the creation of the app as well as the thought processes that went into their research, findings and outcomes.
