Working with other IEc staff, RAs gather and evaluate data; perform quantitative analyses using a variety of economic, financial, or scientific methods; and communicate results in both written and oral form. Consulting work at IEc requires skills including paying close attention to detail, asking questions, identifying potential solutions when challenges arise, and recommending next steps to move a project forward. RAs must independently manage their time to meet deadlines and contribute to a project team. Industrial Economics, Incorporated (IEc) provides expert analysis to government decision-makers and regulators, corporate strategic partners, trade associations, and other clients. IEc is particularly known for developing conceptually correct and practical approaches to analyze complex problems and issues. IEc’s work emphasizes the application of rigorous analytical thinking, the exercise of well-reasoned judgment, and responsiveness to client need. Therefore, they seek to hire motivated individuals who enjoy analysis, are comfortable with collaboration and are inventive in solving problems.
