The MSM Bright Suns Scholarship Competition Announces the 2021 Bright Suns Scholars and Honorable Mention Awardees!

The MSM Bright Suns Scholarship Competition Announces the 2021 Bright Suns Scholars and Honorable Mention Awardees!
Posted By: Lena A Thompson on January 05, 2022

The MSM Bright Suns Scholarship - a scholarship for those who study - was created to emphasize the value of lifelong learning and to impact stigma by emphasizing the importance of study in positive social change.

In our inaugural year of 2021, we wanted to see how well applicants could think outside the stigma and envision steps to a better future. We also wanted our applicants to express the value of study.

They were asked to imagine steps doctors could take to end mental-illness related stigma and to share their thoughts on why the study of history is important.

We received applicants from around the United States and across three continents whose thought-provoking essays expanded our perspectives and lead us to reflect.

As a result, four applicants were honored as MSM Bright Suns Scholars and two applicants received Honorable Mention awards.

ALL of the applicants offered very good ideas.

We're proud to announce the 2021 winners and honorable mentions!

Meet them and read some of their ideas that we loved at MSMBrightSunsScholarship.com
