Florida Memorial University’s Innovation, Technology, and Entertainment (Esports) program is set to begin this spring. This new technology will provide students with hands-on learning opportunities in the spaces of cryptocurrency, the blockchain, and NFTs. The Lions Esports and Gaming Center is located inside the J.C. Sams Student Activity Center and will feature gaming stations for FMU’s ITE. The university has an innovation lab, event programming and will eventually create a competitive club team.
