Shonda Rhimes to Be Honored with a Barbie Doll Made in Her Image

Shonda Rhimes, Founder of the American Television Production Company, Shondaland, and creator of hit shows like “Grey’s Anatomy” is one of the leaders that has been selected to be honored. The purpose of the global campaign is to, “increase access to female role models, support female entrepreneurs, and partner with like-minded global programs. According to the company, “Barbie is committed to helping build the confidence and reinforce the limitless potential of girls everywhere.” In honor of her career achievements, Rhimes and 11 other global female trailblazers will have a one-of-a-kind Barbie doll made in their likeness. The lineup of women includes Ari Horie, Founder and CEO, Women’s Startup Lab and Women’s Startup Lab Impact Foundation, Pat McGrath, Makeup Artist and Founder of Pat McGrath Labs, and Doani Emanuela Bertain, Teacher and Founder of Sala 8.
