Deckers Scholarship Program: Investing in Black Creatives

Posted By: Kennedy Williams on March 09, 2022 Deckers Brands is excited to announce the Deckers Scholarship Program, in partnership with UNCF. Deckers is investing in Black creatives by selecting four annual recipients at historically Black colleges or universities (HBCUs) pursuing careers in business, fashion innovation and design, and sustainable fashion. Each recipient will receive $5,500 each. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be African American/Black or of African descent; currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate college student at a U.S accredited HBCU; have a minimum GPA of 2.80 on a 4.0 scale; and be majoring in and intending to seek a career in a business-related field, fashion programs, sustainable fashion, or fashion design.
