BlackRock is partnering with Flatiron School, a leader in the tech bootcamp industry, to recruit its next class of Associate Software Engineers. Through BlackRock’s Tech Career Accelerator program, selected eligible Software Engineers will be hired as BlackRock employees and participate in a 12-week training – compensation provided by BlackRock, taught by Flatiron School – focused on Java, Spring Boot, Typescript, Angular, and more.

This competitive training is designed to create career advancement opportunities for experienced Software Engineers. Those who successfully complete the training will be offered a full-time, salaried position as Associate Software Engineers.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 4-year degree
  • Minimum 3 years of professional work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years production experience in programming, including Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Experience collaborating and communicating with teammates or stakeholders about technical problems
  • Knowledge of document-based databases, cloud infrastructure, agile process, and CI/CD a plus
  • Knowledge of Finance domain or interest to learn more
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to forge positive relationships and building trusted partnerships through positive demeanor and continuous delivery
