The Dillard University athletics department announced today, May 11, that Courtney Cadore, the current Head Cheerleading Coach of the Cheer Devils, is being added to the school's administrative staff and will now also serve as the Assistant to the Athletic Director.

Cadore was originally hired in the athletics department at Dillard to serve as the Head Cheerleading Coach for the Cheer Devils in October of 2021. She will now serve in the dual role as the Assistant to the Athletic Director after her recent selection for the position.

In the role, she will work handle much of the day-to-day operations of the entire athletics department including assisting in running all game operations, student-athlete academics, helping managing the Game Day Management Team and organize the Athletic Director's calendar.

Cadore takes the athletic administrative place of Kyra Washington, who left Dillard at the beginning of March 2022 to take the role as the Assistant Athletics Director for Administration and Business Operations at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas.

Cadore is a community leader from Rockledge, Florida with more than two decades of cheerleading, public service, and education experience. After graduating from Rockledge High School, she attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (Florida A&M) where she is now a two-time alumna with a Masters in Sport Management.

She has been an Instructor for the National Cheerleading Association since 2013 and has also devoted the last 10 years to fostering youth through academic and athletic programming. Her passion is helping youth advance through education and recreational activities, along with teaching youth life skills.

In July of 2021, Cadore fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming an NFL cheerleader for The New Orleans Saints. She thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Saints Cheer Krewe Family and plans to addition for another season. She also serves as the Marketing Coordinator for Magnus Solutions, Inc. where she enjoys being a community mentor.

She enjoys traveling to new places, working out, and spending quality time with her loved ones. One of her professional career goals is to own a facility that offers cheerleading, sports training, and life skills programming.

Her favorite scripture is "Philippians 4:13 - I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me"
