Posted By: Constance Meadors on May 19, 2022 Juneteenth 1865 Emancipation Celebration Honoring Brilliant Contributions by yoU Wednesday, June 15, 2022 – 12pm -1:30pm EDT This event celebrates African American heritage and the relationship of African Americans and HBCUs with NASA through a discussion with HBCU NASA employees. The goals are: 1. Highlight HBCU alums working at NASA from Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi 2. Motivate and encourage other HBCU graduates to pursue careers with NASA 3. Highlight historical contributions of HBCUs to NASA 4.
