George A. Peters II '03: I Have Only Just A Minute

Check out this video from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia!
George A. Peters II is a multi-hyphenate creator: actor, DJ, host and voice actor, with a creative acumen that also extends to behind the camera as a director, producer, screenwriter and a critically acclaimed songwriter. Known in some creative circles by his sobriquet “2.0” [Two Point Oh], George also holds internationally recognized credentials as a Professional Black Guy, Only Child Olympian and cold Reese Cup Connoisseur.

The Los Angeles-based creative is originally from South New Jersey but also has southern roots, graduating from Morehouse College in Atlanta, where he studied English and Theatre.

As an actor, he is known among his peers for his range, his commitment to his characters, his consummate professionalism in all settings and his infectious energy. George’s work balances his intrinsic ability to receive direction with his instincts for bringing characters to life “off the page” and presenting them as recognizable and relatable.

His work as talent opened the door for George and his dedicated team of creative professionals to found Listen Two Me Productions, a full-service production company established in 2015. Listen Two Me aims to close the gap between the Idea and the Execution for underserved Black Americans. This approach was instrumental in Listen Two Me being selected into Hennessey’s inaugural “Never Stop, Never Settle” Society, an initiative for Black Entrepreneurs.

Through these and other creative endeavors, George and Listen Two Me have further expanded their product and service offerings to include producing curated events for companies around the globe.

Within the last few years, you may have logged on to your company’s virtual summit or conference and been pleasantly surprised to see and hear DJ George 2.0 reaching through your computer screen and inspiring you to dance! L2M’s client roster includes Apple Music, Nike, Estée Lauder, Wondaland Records, The History Channel, Reddit, Nielsen, Hulu, CNN/HLN, Essence and BET.

In rare moments when he isn’t performing or perfecting his craft, George’s spontaneity and creativity comes to life with family and friends in the form of impromptu games and spontaneous celebrations! He currently resides in Southern California with his wife Jovian Zayne and their two-year-old daughter, Jorgie.
