HBCU Students with Remote and Blended Learning Experience Amid the Covid-19 Pandemic Sought for Research Study!
|
Posted By: Dr. Andrew McLear, Psychologist on June 15, 2022 This study explores HBCU undergraduate students' experiences with emergency remote teaching, online, and blended learning amid the Covid-19 pandemic to understand their perceptions of the teaching, social, and cognitive presences required for meaningful learning. The study applies to HBCU undergraduate students who had to (a) switch from face-to-face instruction to emergency remote teaching during the pandemic to minimize virus spread or (b) subsequently enrolled in online or blended courses as HBCUs adapted teaching strategies in response to the threats posed by Covid-19. Students enrolled in an online or blended program before the Covid-19 pandemic are ineligible to participate. The HBCU student voices are central to the discussion, and exploring their experiences is essential to understanding the phenomenon entirely. I encourage you to share this call for eligible volunteers with other HBCU students. Click on the link below (or copy and paste it into your browser) for more information. If interested, complete the consent form to volunteer for the study. https://forms.gle/ZvZ12653D2oVEGKbA If you have any questions, please get in touch with Umoja Community Research at: researchumoja@gmail.com Thank you.
