According to CNN, "Though her addition to the bench doesn't change the ideological balance of the court, Jackson will make history as the first Black woman to serve on the highest court. Jackson was confirmed by the Senate in April by a vote of 53-47, with three Republicans joining Democrats to vote in favor. She will be filling Justice Stephen Breyer's seat, whose retirement will be effective at noon ET." You can watch the live-streamed ceremony at 12 p.m. ET today on CNN.
