Computer Hardware Engineer As a computer hardware engineer you will be designing, developing, testing, and overseeing the manufacture of computer hardware, such as circuit boards, processors, and memory devices. Network Engineer As a network engineer, you'll design computer networks that allow users to access information, communicate, and share content. Network engineers develop and manage computer networks. These include local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other kinds of networks. As one, you will need to have a solid grasp of computer hardware and software, as well as networking protocols. Troubleshooting networking problems and solving problems effectively are required skills.
