Dillard’s Women’s Track & Field Program Named A 2022 NAIA All-Academic Team By the USTFCCCA

Posted By: Kennedy Williams on July 26, 2022 Dillard's women's track & field program was recently recognized as a 2022 NAIA All-Academic Team, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The cumulative grade-point average (GPA) for all student-athletes on the institution's NAIA squad list for indoor and /or outdoor track & field must be a 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Transfer students and/or graduate students are to include only grades earned at the current nominating institution. The cumulative GPA of all student-athletes on the NAIA squad list is computed by the following method: 1) total the cumulative number of semester hours or quarter hours earned for all student-athletes on the NAIA Squad List including the most recent grading period. 2) Total the cumulative number of quality points (GPA multiplied by the number of credit hours) earned by all student-athletes including the most recent grading period 3) Divide the cumulative number of quality points earned by the cumulative number of semesters or quarter hours earned. Dillard's team cumulative GPA was a 3.359. The team was one of only 72 nationally and the only school from the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) to earn the distinction.
